Location, Area, and Habits: African clawless otters are found in permanent water bodies across savannah and lowland forest areas throughout most of sub-Saharan Africa. They thrive in both freshwater and coastal environments, often seen swimming gracefully and foraging for fish, crabs, and other aquatic prey. These otters are known for their social behavior and are often observed playing and grooming in groups.
