The mandrill (Mandrillus sphinx) is one of the world’s largest and most distinctive monkeys. Their bright red-and-blue muzzles and impressive canine teeth make them iconic symbols of African wildlife.

They are ground-dwelling primates known for living in some of the largest social groups of any monkey species.
